I'd recommend the classic PvE Ranger staples:
[skill]Barrage[/skill][skill]Savage Shot[/skill][skill]Distracting Shot[/skill], then [skill]Throw Dirt[/skill] and/or a blocking stance like [skill]Whirling Defense[/skill] for defense. Note that Throw Dirt can be useful in defending other party members (like the monk) from rushing melee attackers, while stances will only help you. Cap Barrage from Commander Kudeh during the quest [wiki]The Great Escape[/wiki], else you'll have to capture it near endgame or in some other campaign.
Fill the remaining skill slots with a resurrect skill and whatever else you need, like the two pet skills if you want to bring yours. If you can access Factions consider taking Ritualist as your secondary profession and using Splinter Weapon on yourself - with Barrage it can deal massive damage to clumped AI mobs. Don't bother with Troll Unguent unless you have some other reason to invest in Wilderness Survival; it's not worth a skill slot unless the monk fails hard, and not even the AI fails that hard, usually.
Oh, and someone in the party should probably have [skill]Favorable Winds[/skill] if you're going to spam arrows all over the place.
Attributes:
Expertise: 8-14, depending on how often you like to spam Savage Shot.
Marksmanship: 12+
Equipment doesn't really make or break this build, you'll produce a distinctively average stream of damage and a considerable number of interrupts in any case. Generally, faster bows like Flatbows and Shortbows are better. Recurve Bows are also useful for interrupting. A bow with a Zealous mod may help with energy management.
